Join us for Borderland Reflections: Resistance Through Our Lens, a celebration of borderland creativity and community.
Living on the border presents unique challenges: having family across the line, crossing daily for work or school, navigating immigration systems, facing cultural discrimination, or feeling cut off from a community you can see but can’t easily reach. These experiences shape who we are and leave lasting marks on our well-being.
Hosted by Rural Arizona Engagement (RAZE), this first-of-its-kind art show brings together artists from both sides of the border to share reflections of identity, migration, belonging, and resilience through painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media.

Acompáñanos a Reflejos Fronterizos: La resistencia a través de nuestra mirada, una celebración de la creatividad y la comunidad fronteriza.

Vivir en la frontera presenta desafíos únicos: tener familia al otro lado, cruzar a diario por trabajo o escuela, navegar los sistemas migratorios, enfrentar la discriminación cultural o sentirse desconectado de una comunidad que puedes ver, pero a la que no puedes acceder fácilmente. Estas experiencias moldean quiénes somos y dejan huellas duraderas en nuestro bienestar.

Each piece in Borderland Reflections comes from a lived experience. These artists from Cochise County and neighboring Mexican border towns share their stories of life at the border through powerful, heartfelt artwork.
Cada obra en Reflejos Fronterizos nace de una experiencia vivida. Estos artistas de Cochise y comunidades vecinas en la frontera con México comparten sus historias de vida fronteriza a través de arte poderoso y conmovedor.
